The programme 'Looking For A NEET Solution: Tackling the Problem of those 'Not in Employment, Education or Training' (NEET) will takes place on Thursday January 22th 2009 in Westminster

The looming recession could see many young people laid off. It is therefore
a key target for the government to reduce the number of young people known
as Neets – not in education, employment or training – which currently stands
at almost one in 10 of 16 to 18-year-olds in England and Wales, costing the
economy an estimated £3billion a year.
This forum will offer an opportunity to address the key issues in
giving young people the support they need to continue in learning and
preventing them from falling into the NEET group.
