Reflective Practitioner Course
Date: 01 Julu 2009
Time: 9.30 am – 4.30pm
Venue: United Reform Church, Paul Street, Taunton.
(There is an NCP car park opposite where people can park for the day.)
The course will provide an overview of reflective practice and will help learners think and write in a more reflective way.
It is an activity and discussion based workshop and is an introduction to reflective practice, forming a basis to help participants to develop the strategies and skills of the reflective practitioner. The day is designed to help LDSS candidates and assessors to think and write in a more reflective style.
Objectives of the course:

Determine what Reflective Practice is

Develop skills of Reflective Practice

Appreciate how Reflective Practice can be a strategy for learning

Undertake self awareness exercises that aid Reflective Practice

Evaluate frameworks for reflection

Consider ways to incorporate reflective writing within the LDSS portfolio

Identify ways of reflecting with others
Lunch will be provided on the day and we will be offering this free of charge to any of those who would like to attend and we have space for 7 more people.
