Vetting and Barring - All you need to know
- Will you be responsible for implementing the Home Office’s new Vetting and Barring Scheme and Online Checking system?
- Is your organisation a ‘regulated activity provider’ under the new legislation or the parent organisation of one?
- Does your organisation advise others on issues related to CRB disclosures?
- Are you a countersignatory for CRB disclosure applications?
- Is your organisation a CRB umbrella body or registered body?
If you answered ‘Yes’ to any or all of these questions you need to be at the Mendip Community Support event on Friday 26th March 2010.
Registration from 13.15. The event starts promptly at 13.50 and will end at 16.10 at:
Canalside Conference Centre (just off Junction 24 of the M5)
Huntworth, Marsh Lane, Bridgwater, TA6 6LQ
The speaker is an expert from the Home Office and will be able to answer an extensive range of questions from all sectors.
Places are limited so pre-booking is essential. If you wish to attend please email your details to: mcsupport@mbzonline.net by Friday 12th March.
You will receive a confirmation email giving your registration number, please bring it with you on the day. We are making a charge of £5 per person to cover admin costs and refreshments.
Please send a cheque, payable to Mendip Community Support, to 62, High Street, Shepton Mallet BA4 5AS or pay with cash on the day. This is a fully accessible venue but if you have any special requirements please let us know in advance.
