Case Study - IT at Re-Creation

As a way of supporting our community learning champions network, ViSTA have been involved in delivering some computer skills courses in communities across the county.  Our group from Bridgwater really enjoyed learning all sorts of different  ICT skills.

From left to right:

• Paul Rich – covered basic skills in Word and Spreadsheets including how to layout and format an application letter
• Renee Scott – a complete beginner to computers – now able to use a keyboard and mouse and is hoping to continue and learnt more.  Eventually hopes to use her skills to help with the local clubs she is involved with.
• Wendy Allen – learnt how to set up a basic spreadsheet, use formula and create charts
• Sandy Fisher – The course has helped her improve her skills in spreadsheets and PowerPoint – hope to use her skills in her work with the Knit and Natter and Lunch clubs
