Volunteer Management Training

The Lantra Level 3 Award in Volunteer Management has been designed so that its content is mapped against the core elements of the level 3 standards in Volunteer Management and is supported by the standard setting body for Volunteer Skills.

There are six units of assessment which represent a total of 60 hours of learning.

  • Plan Volunteer Work
  • Organise Volunteers and Resources
  • Monitor Volunteer Work
  • Communicate Effectively to Brief Volunteers
  • Support Volunteers to Solve Problems
  • Give Feedback to Volunteers

It is important that anybody undertaking this qualification is managing volunteers as the units draw on work experience.  Candidates also have to produce a written case study, which is set in the context of the candidate's own organisation.

More information about the qualification can be found on the Lantra Awards website.
